Two BEST Places to grab Coffee and a bite in Newcastle, NSW

We all love a nice cafe, whether we're catching up with old friends, on our lunch break at work, or just want a nice hot coffee on these cold winter days. that's why we've taken it upon ourselves to compose a list of the 2 best cafes in Newcastle, NSW, and let you know just what it is that really makes them the best of them all - other than our opinion, that is.

Bluedoor is a beautiful, well themed, reasonably priced cafe with 2 locations in the heart of Newcastle filled with lovely, respectable staff. Using only fresh, seasonal produce they make loads of different beautifully presented meals which taste even better than they look, whilst also accommodating to many different dietary needs including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free.
They have 2 locations, the main store is located in the historic Fred Ash building - 363-365 Hunter St, Newcastle, which is the place to be if you enjoy a space that is well decorated and designed and aesthetically pleasing; additionally they have a beach kiosk located on the corner of Watkins St & John Parade, Merewether where you can get yourself something nice to enjoy while you stroll down the beach.

2. Goldberg's Coffee House Restaurant.
With their Cool, Calm and Collected atmosphere, Goldberg's is, and always has been a definite favourite for many locals, and for the price you cannot fault their food or drinks in any way. The service is always nice despite often seeming slightly over run. Open 7 AM until 12 AM you can go for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or anything in between and enjoy your meal either inside or in the superb outdoor dining area.
Locally known for having wonderful cakes and coffees that you just can't say no to. Unfortunately, there is no website for us to link you to, so you may just have to go check it out one day!
Located at 137 Darby St, Cooks Hill sporting a beautiful mural on the side of the building.
